A classy Chablis from a small family producer in the region. The folks at the Louis Michel have been making wine for more than a century and half, and they source their wine from the most ancient slopes of the Chablis village. Today, the family prefers to use stainless steel to capture the purity of the Chablis style. A refined and fresh Chardonnay, the Louis Michel is one to try.

Its Origins

Jean-Loup Michel and his nephew Guillaume Gicqueau-Michel are passionate supporters of stainless steel for production of pure, clean and precise Chablis. Situated right in the heart of the village of Chablis, the family has been making wine since 1850. The 25 ha vineyard spreads over the very first slopes that were discovered by Cistercian monks in the 11th century, so there’s no lack of tradition. The domaine has developed a worldwide reputation for fine wine-making in stainless steel vats.
