Its Origins

Champagne Bollinger was established in 1829 and has steadily grown under family stewardship. A reputaion has been established for Pinot-dominant wines occupying the powerful end of the Champagne spectrum, with a large majority of fruit sourced from their own vineyards and undergoing fermentation in oak and extensive lees aging for texture. Bollinger is now among the leading exponents and reference points of this mouth-filling and 'masculine' style.

What The Critics Say

17/20 Jancis Robinson

"Honeyed and broad and toasty and bold. This is all drama and diva. Real stage-grabbing power. Lovely buttery baked-apple richness. Real punch and zest. "

94/100 Wine Enthusiast

"Exudes honey, with richness and a supple texture. Peach, biscuit and dried orange peel notes add complexity, and the wine glides to a long, lingering aftertaste of honey and brioche."
