Theme a tasting around a region, variety or wine style of your choice, or allow John to recommend a theme to suit you.

Held in our beautiful, custom-designed tasting room at Caro's Grey Lynn, with seating for up to 64, or at your own venue.

From $50 per person, excluding food (minimum charge $1000 for the night)

We can suggest a terrific caterer for you or feel free to use your own.

An example of our tastings:

A tour of Italy. John Caro will guide you through selection of fine Italian wines, exploring the regions, grapes and people that make each wine unique.

Taste wines such as:
Ronco di Tassi Malvasia, Montauto Vermentino, Felsina Chianti Classico Riserva, Il Poggione Brunello di Montalcino, Roccolo Grassi Valpolicella, Massolino Barolo and Elvio Cogno Moscato d'Asti

Paired with catering by John Campbell:
Buffalo mozzarella brushetta with tomato basil and parmesan ,Prawn and melon wrapped in prosciutto, Smoked chicken with mango avocado and coriander, Rare beef spoons with olives capers and parmesan, Roasted duck on a potato rosti with apple compote, Slider bun with soft pork belly fennel and prune compote, Classic meat balls with rich tomato jus, Italian and NZ cheeses with fruits crackers and bread.
